1. Christmas Engagement Contest - Find the Missing Santa Claus (“Contest”) is organized by Liberty General Insurance Berhad (formerly known as AmGeneral Insurance Berhad) (“LGIB”).
2. This contest shall commence from 20 December 2023 until 5 January 2024, both dates inclusive unless notified otherwise (“Contest Period”). LGIB reserves the right to end this Contest any time earlier at its own discretion.

 

Eligibility

3. This contest applies to all Malaysian citizens or permanent residents of Malaysia with minimum age of eighteen (18) years old. To take part in this Contest, participants are required to fulfil the following requirements:

   • Step 2: Screenshot the Missing Santa and upload it along with your detail here: https://forms.gle/f4vnh7BKF69rxr1T8
   • Step 3: Share this post on your wall with #FindTheMissingSanta
   • (Participants’ Instagram account is required to be public for us to verify participation)

4. The 30 participants who are the fastest and most accurate in finding the missing Santa will win RM100 Touch N Go e-Wallet credit each.
5. Each participant is only allowed to win once, regardless of the number of their entries.
6. Names of winners will be announced and published on LGIB and Kurnia Instagram page. 
7. The winners will also be contacted via Instagram Direct Message (DM) by LGIB’s Contact Centre Service Academy, Admin team or appointed media agency. In the event the selected winners are not contactable after three (3) attempts (i.e. no reply on Instagram DM), LGIB reserves the right to select the remaining winners from the pool of total eligible entries. LGIB will not be held liable in the event the shortlisted winners are not contactable for whatever reason.
8. Employees of LGIB are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
9. Participation by contest hunters will be strictly dismissed as it contradicts the objective of this contest. The organizers will thoroughly examine contestants based on our terms and conditions.

11. The selected winner is responsible for ensuring that they have provided accurate information of their full name, mobile phone number and/or email address to receive the e-voucher. Should the winner decide to provide a third party’s phone number and/or email address, LGIB will not be liable for the receipt of e-voucher via the third party. The selected winners are responsible to redeem the e-voucher within the prescribed validity period of e-voucher.
12. LGIB reserves the right, as deemed fit, to substitute the prizes with another product of similar value without prior notice.
13. All prizes are not transferable, nor exchangeable for cash or credit or kind whether in part or in full.

Other General Conditions

14. Unless otherwise notified, this Contest will end at 11.59pm on 5 January 2024, and all prizes will be disbursed by 29 February 2024 (“Disbursement Period”), after which this Contest will be terminated. No further disbursements of prizes shall be made or claims against this Contest be entertained after 30 March 2024.
15. LGIB reserves the right (at its own discretion) to disqualify any participant and/or withhold or confiscate in full or part the prizes if the participant is found to be or reasonably suspected of participating in any form of fraudulent practices (including but not limited to false identities, doctoring images, willful spamming or manipulation of any of LGIB’s  processes, or website).
16. Where LGIB suspects a participant is participating in any form of unlawful and/or fraudulent activity, LGIB reserves the right to report such activity or suspicion to the police or relevant authorities.
17. LGIB reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions of this Contest without any prior notice. LGIB may withdraw or discontinue this Contest at any time without giving prior notice and without incurring any liability. 
18. LGIB reserves the right to change the Contest Period and/or Disbursement Period if the launch of this Contest is delayed and shall have no liability for the same.
19. Any cancellation, termination, withdrawal, or suspension by LGIB of this Contest will not entitle participants to any compensation against LGIB for any and all loss or damage that may be suffered or incurred by the participant as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination, withdrawal or suspension.
20. LGIB’s determination of all matters relating to this Contest shall be final and conclusive and in the event of any inconsistency between these Contest Terms and Conditions and any marketing or promotional materials relating to this Contest, these Contest Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
21. LGIB would like to alert the Participants to take reasonable precautions when receiving any phone calls and messages requesting for your personal information during and/or after this Contest. LGIB would also like to advise our valued Participants to call our Customer Centre for verification regarding this Contest. 
22. By participating in this Contest, you hereby give consent for your personal data and/or information to be processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”). Please refer to our full Privacy Notice on www.libertyinsurance.com.my www.kurnia.com or www.amassurance.com.my for further information.
23. Eligible winners who do not receive their prizes within the stipulated timeline are advised to DM our Instagram via @libertyinsurancemalaysia and @kurniainsurans.
24. These Contest terms and conditions are governed by and construed under the Laws of Malaysia.
