Check Your Claim Status

Now that you’ve got an insurance policy, here are a few simple steps on how to report or lodge a claim with ease.

We understand that reporting a loss is a painful process. We consider all loss notifications as priority.

Different types of insurance require various conditions and procedures, and the process can seem far more complicated under duress. However, it is important that all insurance policyholders are aware and knowledgeable on the process of making insurance claims.

The following guidelines have been designed to simplify the steps and make lodging a claim, a more convenient process.

Motor

Steps
  1. Lodge a police report at the relevant police station.
  2. Visit our front counter service centres located at our head office or branches nationwide or call us on 03 2268 3333 or fill in the online enquiry form.
  3. Our Representative will get in touch within 24 hours.
  4. Contact us on 1-800-88-5005 if you require towing assistance.
  5. Once your vehicle is at a Liberty Panel Repairers workshop, they will assist to file a claim.
  6. We will organize a survey within 24 hours upon submission of a repair estimate from Liberty's Panel Repairers.

Fire

Steps
  1. Notify Insurer
    Immediately notify Insurers in the event of loss/damages.
  2. Report to Police
    Notify and report to Fire Brigade/Police immediately of the Fire.
  3. Protect
    Take all necessary measures to protect properties from further damages.
  4. Evidence
    Take photos of the damages and secure all documents, information and evidence required.
  5. Co-operate
    Co-operate with the Claims personnel and/or Adjusters when called upon.

Householders Houseowners

Steps
  1. Notify Insurer
    Immediately notify the Insurer/LGIB in the event of loss/damages.
  2. Report to Police
    Notify and report to Police/Fire Brigade immediately for Fire/Theft. For other loss circumstances, please contact our Claims Personnel.
  3. Protect
    Take all necessary measures to protect properties from further damages.
  4. Evidence
    Take photos of the damages/point of entry and secure all documents, information and evidence required.
  5. Co-operate
    Co-operate with the Claims personnel and/or Adjusters when called upon.

Permanent Disablement

Steps
  1. Notify Insurer
    Immediately notify the Insurer/LGIB in the event of the accident.
  2. Report to Police
    Notify Police immediately for injuries resulted from a Road Accident (for other loss circumstances, please contact our Claims Personnel).
  3. Medical Evidence and Photographs
    Secure medical reports indicating the extent of permanent disablement and photographs of the permanent disablement.
  4. Other Evidence
    Secure all documents and information required, and submit to Insurer.
  5. Co-operate
    Co-operate with the Claims personnel and/or Adjusters when called upon.

Death

Steps
  1. Notify Insurer
    Immediately notify the Insurer/LGIB in the event of the accident.
  2. Report to Police
    Notify Policy immediately for any accident involving Death.
  3. Evidence
    Secure all documents and information required, and submit to Insurer as soon as possible.
  4. Co-operate
    Co-operate with the Claims personnel and/or Adjusters when called upon.
