Motor Third Party Fire and Theft (TPFT) Insurance is a plan that provides protection against fire and theft to your vehicle, as well as damage caused by your vehicle to third-party property. 

Policy (for existing policies and renewals before 1st November 2016)

  • Affordable. TPFT is more affordable than comprehensive motor insurance.
  • Flexible Payment Options. You Flexible Payment Options. You may choose to pay your Motor TPFT Insurance premium annually with cash, cheque or credit card.
  • Protection against Fire and Theft. If your vehicle is stolen or damaged by fire, we will pay up to a maximum of RM20,000.00 to repair it.
  • Liability Cover. If you cause bodily injury or death of third party (except passengers in your vehicle) or damages third party´s property, such as their car, building or fence during a motor accident, we will pay for the damage caused by your vehicle, and we will cover the legal costs as well.
  • Vehicle owner and their authorised driver(s) - anyone who resides in Malaysia age 18 to 70 years old with a valid driving license.
Sum Insured (RM)
i) Against bodily injury or death of third party
ii) Against damage to third party´s property
Up to a maximum of RM3 million
Loss or Damange
i) We will indemnify you if your vehicle is lost or damaged by fire explosion or lightning, by burglary, housebreaking or theft based on the Sum Insured amount at the time of loss.
Sum insured or market value of your vehicle up to a maximum of RM20,000.00 (whichever is lower)

* Minimum sum insured for Motor TPFT policy for Private Car is RM7,000.00 up to a maximum of RM20,000.00.

  • The total premium that you will have to pay may vary depending on the No-Claims-Discount (NCD) entitlement and the underwriting requirements of our company.
  • The premium amount is before Goods and Services Tax (GST).
  • This offer excludes stamp duty. Please add RM10.00 as stamp duty to your premium.
  • If the driver does not hold a valid driving license to drive the vehicle or if not qualified for holding or obtaining such a license under the regulation of the Malaysia Road Transport Department.
  • While the vehicle is used for illegal business as an unlicensed common carrier.
  • If the vehicle is used for hire, road rally pace making, speed-testing or use for any purpose in connection with the motor trade.
  • Losses such as accidental damage to your vehicle, your own death or bodily injury due to a motor accident and your liability against claims from passengers in your vehicle.
  • War or contamination by war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities or warlike operations, mutiny, civil war, rebellion, revolution insurrection, conspiracy, military uprising, martial law or state of siege.
  • Criminal acts or terrorism.
  • Bacterial infections, suicide or self-inflicted injury, pre-existing physical or mental defect or infirmity, HIV and AIDS related diseases. InInfluence of intoxicating liquor, alcohol or drugs.
