Q1. What is StarRider?
A1. StarRider Plan is a 7 in 1 driver and passengers’ personal accident insurance plan that protects the driver and/or passengers against loss of life, permanent dismemberment, medical expenses, ambulance fees, dental or corrective cosmetic surgery and bereavement expenses, while driving, riding, boarding or alighting in an insured vehicle.
By way of such a cover, Liberty Insurance Berhad will compensate vehicle driver and/or passengers, irrespective of the fault of the insured party. In the event of an accident, which may or may not be the driver’s fault, passengers will receive commensurate damages, and need not wait for the sometimes lengthy settling of the question as to who was to blame for the accident.
Q2. Why do I need StarRider?
A2. Accidents can happen at anywhere, at anytime and to anyone. Despite the fact that a person causing an accident cannot assert third-party liability claims against himself or herself, passengers’ accident insurance is extremely important for a driver who would otherwise receive no reparation at all when causing an accident. It is also an important protection in those instances in which it proves impossible to determine the party at fault. So why take the chance when you and your family can be protected with only 18 sen a day for all year long protection?

||Plan 1 (RM)
